To be in relationship is to help one another grow and heal the parts of yourselves that can could never access alone.

Love can be painful. To be in love with yourself, or another, is to be vulnerable and courageous. Opening yourself up to life and love, letting go of knowing and controlling it all, I believe, is the purpose of love. To shake us open and the awaken sleeping giants within.

How To Attract A Loving Relationship

You must be that which you desire. There’s no point whatsoever in an unloving man or woman bemoaning their inability to find a partner. They’re doomed to endless frustration because they don’t recognize the perfect match when it appears. That loving person could be right there, now, and their resistance doesn’t allow them to see it. The unloving person continues to blame bad luck or a series of external factors for their not having a loving relationship.

How To Attract Love To Your Life

Love can only be attracted by and returned by love. The best advice I can give for attracting and maintaining spiritual partnerships, is to be what it is that you are seeking. Most relationships that fail to sustain themselves are based on one or both of the partners feeling as if their freedom has been compromised in some way. Spiritual partnerships, however, are never about making another person feel inferior or ignored in any way. The term spiritual partnership simply means that the energy holding the two of you together is in close harmony with the Source energy of intention.

Using Intention To Attract The Relationship You Want

This means that an allowing philosophy flows through the partnership, and you need never fear that your freedom to fulfill your own inner knowing about your purpose is questioned. It’s as if each person has whispered silently to the other, You are Source energy in a physical body, and the better you feel, the more of this loving, kind, beautiful, receptive, abundant, expanding, and creative energy is flowing through you. I respect this Source energy, and I share it with you as well. When either of us feels downhearted, there’s less of this energy of intention flowing. We must always remember that nothing is disallowed by the universal mind. Whatever is not allowing us to be happy is being disallowed by us. I’m committed to staying in this energy field of intention and watching myself whenever I slip. It’s that very Source that brought us together, and I’ll work to stay in harmony with it.

Affirm That Love is On Its Way

Mystically speaking, there’s no difference between you and another person. A weird concept, perhaps, but valid. This explains why you can’t hurt another person without hurting yourself, nor can you help another person without helping yourself. You share the same Source energy with everyone, and consequently, you must begin to think and act in a way that reflects your awareness of this principle. When you feel the need to have the right person show up, begin to change your inner dialogue to reflect this awareness. Rather than saying, “I wish this person would show up because I need to get out of this rut” activate a thought that reflects your connection, such as: I know the right person will be arriving in divine order at precisely the perfect time.

Loving Yourself First

If a friendship or partnership requires the submission of your higher original nature and dignity, it’s simply wrong. When you truly know what it is to love, as you’re loved by your Source, you won’t experience the kind of pain you did in the past when your love was unnoticed or rejected. It will, instead, be similar to how a friend described her experience of choosing to leave a relationship: “My heart was broken, but it felt like it was stuck in the open position. I felt love flowing toward this person who couldn’t love me the way I wanted to be loved, even as I left that relationship to seek the love I felt inside of me. It was strange to feel the pain of my broken heart. And at the same time feel its openness. I kept thinking, My heart’s broken, but it’s broken open. I shifted to an entirely new level of loving and being loved. The relationship I’d dreamed of having manifested 18 months later!”

You are love. You emanated from pure love. You’re connected to this Source of love at all times. Think this way, feel this way, and you’ll soon act this way. And all that you think, feel, and do will be reciprocated in exactly the same fashion. Believe it or not, this principle of the right person showing up has been in place forever. It’s only your ego that’s kept you from seeing it clearly.

Gratitude is the attitude, baby

What are you grateful for? How often are we checking in with our blessings and expressing gratitude? From my experiences, the more we tap into a state of pure gratitude the more we unlock our capacity to love.

Thanks to my girl Gabrielle and her miraculous book, the 4th day of every week is dedicated to gratitude.
Normally, I am conscious daily and take inventory of all the blessings in my life which I am grateful for, but with Gabby’s assistance I am approaching gratitude on a whole. New. Level. And I want to share this with you.because yes, you all out here in this blogsphere, I am grateful for you!

The fourth day of your week (our any specific day, the tip here is pick a day and stay consistent with it in order to receive the full benefit of practicing gratitude), embrace it as a day of gratitude.

Use the affirmation, gratitude is the attitude of the day. Write it in your journal and carry it with you throughout the day (literally or mentally. Or set a reminder on your phone to alert you at certain times of the day, helping you bring awareness back to the affirmation).

At the end of your day recount events that may have triggered fear in you. Thoughts at work of you not being Good enough, negative thoughts you realized you were having towards yourself in your appearance, etc.

Now approach these negative or self limiting beliefs with gratitude, acknowledging each of them with gratitude for the new ways they are showing you to face and embrace your fears.

When we choose to look at our fears as opportunities to give gratitude and allow ourselves to choose love and gratitude over fear, we are no longer closing ourselves off to love and we are allowing ourselves to embrace and grow from our fears.

In addition to this practice of gratitude, I keep a gratitude journal next to my bed. Everyday I pause to truly tell the universe what I am grateful for. This practice instills in me a perspective of looking at all the beauty in my life and keeps me aligned with positivity.

I try to write down a variety of things or experiences I am grateful for. Somedays I simply take inventory of every day basics like “today I am grateful for my heart, for it beats life throughout my body and propels me through this life.”

It is these subtle shifts of perspective that we are all incorporating into our daily lives that will build and result in life transformations.




A 5 step guide to mindfulness

If you have been in a FUNK, or thinking to yourself, SOMETHING needs to change AKA I NEED to change well, I think you are at the right place.

My weeks have been full of AH HA  moments lately and in those moments I become more and more aware. In becoming more aware, it solidifies the things in my life which fuel me, my life, and my growth. I want to share some of those things with YOU today!

5 mindful practices to change your life. Starting today.  

Yoga:  It comes to me when I know I need to be still with my mind. To stretch my body and tap INTO my inner voice by listening and feeling every square inch of my body through intentional movements. Setting my daily yoga intention to BE in every moment my practice gives me. I know yoga can changes lives, because it has mine

Meditation: Practicing mindfulness. Sitting in silence. Sit. in. Silence. HOW TO: COMMITTING to a practice of 10 minutes a day, for 30 days. After 30 days of mindful meditation, reflect. Have you felt an overall improvement in your moods, your energy levels? Have you experienced heightened periods of consciousness? I promise you the answer to all of those questions will be YES. If you find in the beginning of your practice your mind tends to wonder, be gentle with it. Guided meditation can help you with your practice. Here is a resource:

Exercise:  Daily. Tap INTO the POWER you harness by USING your body, by DEVELOPING the muscles in your being. Your body is THE VEHICLE which carries you throughout your journey. How to: COMMIT to working out 3-5 times a week, for 6 weeks. Apply the reflection process for exercise as you did for your meditation practice. If you don’t know where to start in regards to exercising, here is a step-by-step guide to get you started (yes, for women, but plenty of resources on there for men as well):

Laughter:  Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed. Do not forget that. Keep a light mind, heart, and spirit with you. Laugh with the heart of a child. ENJOY your LIFE, RIGHT NOW. It is not about “When I get the big promotion, when HE/SHE asks me out, when I lose the 20 pounds” I will be happy. It is about NOW. The quote that rings true here: “It is about the journey, not the destination.” It is not in the end result, in the finish line, in the ‘accomplishment’ that we are after, it is the period in which we spend in-between the beginning and the end of our individual goals in life in which we are truly living. Divinely. We can not forget that IN THIS MOMENT we are THE BEST we can be.

 Love: I heard something a long time ago that has stuck, “Love the things which are easy to love, and stretch to love the things that are hard.” Love your career, love your smile, love your friends, love your enemies, love YOURSELF, PHEW- isn’t this one sometimes the hardest?! Do not harden your heart to its given power, to its DIVINE purpose which is to LOVE. When you look at your life with LOVING intentions, you FEEL the energy of love PULSING throughout your body. Keep this with you and use it to remind you to love, always.

its the journey

As I was writing this I sat and watched a ladybug land on my hand. As I gently moved my hand over, back and forth, allowing myself to watch this TINY BEAUTIFUL creature navigate its way around the surface of my hand, I felt its tiny little legs crawling over my skin, saw its vibrant red shell bobbing all around my hand. I noticed my breathing slowing down, I noticed the crickets, grasshoppers, birds and the LIFE buzzing ALL AROUND ME, RIGHT NOW, with this tiny little insect navigating its life, ON MY BODY. And just like that, its wings opened up, and it fluttered away. I strive to experience life, every moment, as intensely as this one. Life is about BAZILLIONS of these tiny little moments.

Do not forget that this life is here today as a gift meant to be lived, loved, cherished and released from us just a easily as it came to us.

To love being alone

This is SO awesome.

Last Friday a guy tried making plans with me. I was pleasantly touched by his offer, but told him I already had plans to go to the movies and grab a drink. With myself.

I’m a social butterfly in most situations, but I have been working on the most important relationship I have in my life, which is the one with myself.

Think about it, who are you going to be with FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE? Maybe your partner/lover/spouse,

but in the end.


The relationship you have with yourself is THE best relationship you can have in your life. When you yourself are a BOSS, your other personal relationships reflect that.

I AM having a PASSIONATE love affair with myself and THIS life.

Even Oscar Wilde has something to say about this,
“To love oneself is the beginning of a life-long romance.”

Today I am ALL about creating a day FULL of happy VIBRATIONS (I am applying this word today, from a dear friend of mine, because I LOVE it)

I have found myself struggling lately..My INTENSE vibration of love and happiness went hiding for a few days, and I was FRANTIC (not really, but maybe a bit) in trying to get back to my place of overflowing love and happiness.

The more I resisted the fact that my love vibrations had dropped a few levels, the more the feeling of lack stuck around.

As soon as I stopped focusing on the fact that my love vibrations had dropped, AND as soon as I started ACTIVELY cultivating happiness inside me (positive affirmations, going for a walk, looking only at the POSITIVE and most importantly filling myself with GRATITUDE)

Boom. My love cup runneth over.

Love. Be Happy.

I like to start my day off with AWEsomeness.

That means I do positive affirmations that resonate with me and help focus my thoughts on empowering aspects of my life. I use the inspiration and happiness I gain to propel me forward. DAILY.

Anytime you love, there’s always a lesson.

Oh, and there’s some weightlifting badassness coming. And some serious sex-on-a-plate cooking to be discussed. believe. me.
